Fruit Kabobs

  • 3 cups strawberries
  • 8 wooden skewers (soaked in water for at least 20 minutes)
  • 3 cups pineapple chunks
  • 3 cups watermelon chunks


1. Heat a gas or charcoal grill to medium-high heat. Slice off the stem end of the strawberries to create a flat top.
2. On prepared skewers, carefully spear pineapple, watermelon and strawberries, and set in a tray for grilling.
3. Place the skewers on the barbecue and grill for 5 minutes, or until grill marks form. Once grill marks form, turn the skewers. Remove when they are seared on all sides. Serve immediately.
