Spanish-Style Garlic Shrimp

  • 2 sprigs parsley
  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 2 tbsp minced garlic
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1 lb frozen jumbo shrimp, thawed
  • 1/8 tsp sea salt


1. Chop the parsley. Heat the olive oil in a deep skillet over medium heat. Sauté the garlic with the bay leaf and cayenne pepper for 1 minutes, or until fragrant.
2. Add the shrimp and sauté, stirring occasionally, for 3–5 minutes, or until tender.
3. Divide the shrimp among 4 bowls and remove the bay leaf. Sprinkle with parsley and sea salt, and serve with fresh, crusty bread.
