Skirt Steak with Salsa

Makes 4 servings


  • 1 1/2 lbs skirt steak
  • 1 tbsp McCormick Grill Mates roasted garlic and herb seasoning
  • 1 tsp canola oil
  • 1 cup fresh salsa


1. Sprinkle steak with seasoning and oil and massage to coat. (For best results, cover and refrigerate for 1 hour.)
2. Preheat grill to high heat. Set steak on hot grill and sear for 4โ€“5 min., rotating once or until charred. Flip and cook the other side for another 3โ€“4 min. Remove when an internal temperature reaches 135ยฐF. Temperature will rise to achieve medium rare. Transfer steak to a plate and leave to rest, loosely covered with foil, for 5 min.
3. Slice meat into thin strips against the grain and serve with salsa.
