Asian Grilled Flank Steak

Makes 4 servings

Ingredients

  • 1 bottle beer
  • 3 scallions, chopped
  • 2 teaspoons sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 2 slices ginger, minced
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1 1/2 pounds flank steak
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce (gluten-free if needed)
 

Directions

1. Place all ingredients except flank steak in a re-sealable gallon-size plastic bag. Put flank steak inside bag and seal bag.
2. Massage bag to mix ingredients well.
3. Refrigerate overnight.
4. Grill until cooked to your desired doneness.
5. Slice thinly against the grain.
