Makes 2 burgers

  • 1 lb 70-80% lean ground beef
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 2 garlic clove, minced
  • Tomatoes, sliced thick
  • Iceberg Lettuce
  • 4 tablespoons of blue cheese
  • 4 fresh baked, soft buns
  • 4 slices of thick cut bacon, cooked
  • Canola Oil

The Sauce

  • 1/2 cup mayo
  • 2 tablespoons ketchup
  • 1 dill pickle spear, diced
  • 1 teaspoon white vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • Pinch of salt

1. Mix the burger patties! In a large bowl, gently combine the beef, egg, onion powder and minced garlic with your hand.
2. Make and stuff your burgers! Take 1/4 of the burger mixture and form a round patty with it. Add a tablespoon of blue cheese to the center. Take another 1/4 of the burger mixture and make another patty and place it on top. Mold the two pattys together so it looks like one. Push your thumb down in the center of it so that the burger will be flat and even.
3. Grill your burgers over 400 degree heat for 4 minutes. Flip them over and grill another 3 minutes.
4. Make the sauce! Mix the mayo, ketchup, diced pickles, vinegar, sugar and salt in a bowl.
5. Assemble the burgers. Place your burger in between your bun. Add sauce, lettuce, bacon and tomatoes! Enjoy!
