Buffalo Chicken Salad

Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, chopped
  • 1 cup shredded carrots
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped celery
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
  • 1/2 cup plain low-fat yogurt
  • 1/4 cup organic mayonnaise
  • 1 1/2 -3 tablespoons Frank’s RedHot Original Cayenne Pepper Sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried dill weed
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
 

Directions

1. Place chicken in a medium bowl. Add carrots, celery, onion, yogurt, mayonnaise, hot sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, dill weed, salt and pepper. Toss to combine ingredients well.
2. Use as filling for sandwiches/wraps, serve as a dip with whole grain crackers, or on top of a green salad.
 

Notes

Start with 1 1/2 tablespoons hot sauce and adjust according to your taste.
