Easy Homemade Meatballs and Spaghetti

Makes 40 meatballs


  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 pound ground pork
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • 3/4 cup panko bread crumbs
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon minced parsley
  • 1/2 teaspoon grated nutmeg
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 (16 ounce) package spaghetti noodles
  • 1 (24 ounce) jar pasta sauce


1. Preheat oven to 400ºF. Spray a large cookie sheet with cooking spray.
2. Mix together ground beef, ground pork, egg, panko bread crumbs, garlic, parsley, nutmeg, salt and pepper in a large mixing bowl.
3. Form into 1-inch balls and place on prepared cookie sheet.
4. Bake in preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until meatballs are browned and cooked through.
5. Bring a large pot of water to boil and cook spaghetti noodles to package directions. Remove from heat and drain, setting aside.
6. Heat pasta sauce in a medium saucepan. When hot, add cooked meatballs and toss in sauce.
7. Serve cooked spaghetti noodles with the cooked meatballs.


Reserve half of the meatballs for meatball sandwiches.
