Watermelon Ginger Sipper

  • 8 cups watermelon chunks (about 1/2 medium watermelon)
  • 1 (3/4 inch) chunk ginger
  • 1/4 cup lime juice
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 3 tbsp honey
  • 1 cup ice cubes
  • 1 (12 oz) bottle nonalcoholic ginger beer


1. Chop watermelon and add to a blender. Peel and thinly slice the ginger and add to blender, along with the lime juice, lemon juice, honey, and ice cubes.
2. Blend until smooth.
3. Strain through a fine-mesh strainer and divide among 4 tall glasses. Top off with the ginger beer.


Garnish with a long wedge of watermelon for a fun touch.
